Founded by the Group’s current Hon. Chairman, Mr. M.V. Kunhumohamed in 1972,
Jaleel Traders started in the form of a shop at Murshid Bazaar, one of Dubai’s
old, traditional-styled markets. The shop, which initially traded in fresh
fruits, re-located in 1973 to the old fish market in Deira.
Over the past three decades, the Group has ventured into wholesale, agency
distribution, retail & packaging and has also managed to establish a vast
supplier network across the globe.
With operations spanning all the seven emirates, a staff strength of over 670
employees, a product portfolio that showcases over 15,000 different SKUs and a
fleet that consists of 170 vehicles, the Group clocked an annual revenue of
over AED 710 million in 2007, showcasing tremendous growth and consistent
success across all its established ventures.
